Cultural Immersion Experience

Service Description

Maximum of 10 participants at $1,999 per person The aim of this program is to provide you with the foundations to become Change Agents in your organisation and allow you to adopt cultural integrity to more effectively champion causes and engage with Indigenous communities without trepidation. The experience provides you with a understanding of traditional ways of working and the impact of colonisation on contemporary society. You will have the opportunity to engage with Elders, Aboriginal community members and stakeholders while learning about Aboriginal vs Wadjella (non-Indigenous) time, Kaadaninny - To listen and learn, culture and language. The aim is to get you to shift from a deficient discourse to a strength based one whilst engaging in traditional practices of bush tucker, medicine, art and craft As Change Agents we encourage you to share your newly found knowledge and experiences with your friends, family and colleges. There will be an opportunity to record your experiences and any teaching material you may like to record on country to share with your friends, family or organisation. Please note: While we are professional photographers and have semi-professional video recording equipment and are amateur videographers.
